Over the years I have read numerous books that have helped me along my personal life path. Today I am sharing some of them with you, in the hope that they may help you too.

So, here are ten of my favorites:

1. Conversations With God by Neale Donald Walsch

2. Wooden by John Wooden with Steve Jamison

3. The Spiritual Laws of Success by Deepak Chopra

4. Think & Grow Rich by Napolean Hill

5. The Power of Positive Thinking by Dr. Norman Vincent Peale

6. Zero Limits: The Secret Hawaiian System for Wealth, Health, Peace, and More by Joe Vitale & Ihaleakala Lew Hen, Phd.

7. The Four Agreements by Miguel Ruiz

8. One Heart: Wisdom from the World's Scriptures edited by Bonnie Louise Kuchler

9. The Power of Intention by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer

10. Mother Earth Spirituality: Native American Paths to Healing Ourselves and Our World by Ed McGaa, Eagle Man

Now this is just a sampling of the literally hundreds of books that I have simply devoured in my quest to learn everything I can about who I am and why I am here. they have provided me guidance and helped me to live a fulfilled and balanced life. I am quite sure that they may do the same thing for you too.

All of these books have contributed to my philosophy of life and that is: "I do not care what you call yourself, love one another. The rest is just details!"

That's all for today.

May you be blessed always and in all ways!

A Book Review, "Zero Limits" by Dr. Joe Vitale & Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len

Before I begin the review I do have to say that not having electricity for a little over four days last week, while not allowing me the opportunity to work at my home office, certainly provided time for me to catch up on my reading and one of the books I read was "Zero Limits". Reading that book has been some of the most productive time I have spent in a long, long time.

I have read literally hundreds of self-help, philosophy, spiritual and religious books but before I read "Zero Limits, " by Dr. Joe Vitale and Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len, master teacher of the updated Ho’oponopono system, I had never heard of the Hawaiian Ho'oponopono system.

I was not too far into the book when I filled with both intrigue and some frustration. I was so intrigued that I did not put the book down until I finished it. It took me about three hours to complete it but what I learned will be with me for a lifetime.

Even though I had always knew and practiced that I could not change anyone else, I had always thought that I could at least influence their decisions with my training and guidance. I was not prepared to hear that whatever I encountered in my life was a lesson for something I had to clear from myself, not them. Sure, I know that everything I encounter is a mirror unto myself, I just never had it put to me so eloquently and simply.

Dr. Len is truly an outstanding and wise teacher and Dr. Vitale brings this method to the masses with such integrity and love. I am now practicing Ho'opnonpono everyday and looking for a workshop by Dr. Len where I can experience more of this wonderful system.

One of the most beautiful things about the system is it's relative simplicity. Dr. Len says that he is constantly clearing and that by working on himself he sees changes happen around him. What does he do to "clear" himself and what is the basics of Ho'oponopono. These four statements that you repeat silently to yourself.

1. I love you.
2. I'm sorry.
3. Please forgive me.
4. Thank you.

That's it. This is what Dr. Len did to successfully treat patients locked up in a prison ward for the criminally insane without even seeing them. All he did was read their files and used the system to clear himself. The rest as they say is history.

I highly recommend you get this book and expose yourself to this beautiful system for self improvement.

That's all for today!

Blessings!

The Power of Gratitude

Yesterday, my computer modem went out and I was without internet, phones or cable for about 24 hours. Now, I could have lamented the fact that I lost all my technology, after all I do run my business from my house but I try and be grateful for everything in my life, fo it all has a lesson in it.

"Develop an attitude of gratitude, and give thanks for everything that happens to you, knowing that every step forward is a step toward achieving something bigger and better than your current situation." - Brian Tracy

So, what did I do with this peaceful repose from technology so as to make it a grateful experience.

Well, first of all, I have a stack of books to read and I took time to finish one and completely read another. They were both by Joe Vitale and if you are in business I would recommend both to get thhings going, keep things going and prosper like never before.

The first one is "There's a Customer Born Every Minute", in which Vitale studies the success principles of the great P.T. Barnum. I found it hard t put down and it is chock full of business wisdom from the master publicity maker.

The other is "Your Internet Cash Machine". Once again Vitale provides practical business ideas, most of which can be implemented immediately and for little to no cost.

I also spent quality time with my wife watching a cute movie, "License to Wed", starring Robin Williams. It is a nice "date" movie!

The other thing I did was spend about forty minutes today in silence. It was inspiring, energizing, relaxing and quite a judicious use of my time. We do not spend nearly enough time in silence. In fact, most of us spend no time there at all and yet it can do so many wonderful things for us.

"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity. It turns problems into gifts, failures into success, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events.
Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow." - Melodic Beattie

Ok, what has this got to do with gratitude. Well, if I was not grateful for the modem breaking then I would not have had these wonderful personal and life growth experiences.

So, the next time something happens that at first looks to be a nuisance and/or inconvenience, be grateful for it and turn it into something fun and worthwhile.

Thats' all for now!

May you be blessed always and in all ways!
